Julie Blanchin Fujita at the Tokyo BD Festival !

From Saturday, 1 November 2025 to Sunday, 2 November 2025, illustrator and comic book author Julie Blanchin Fujita will be participating in the Tokyo Comic Festival. Julie has also created a map of the Tokyo Comic Festival area, which will be unveiled at the event. We can't wait to see the result!

Julie Blanchin Fujita
（ジュリ・ブランシャン・フジタ）

A native of Charente, Julie dreamed from an early age of travelling to the other side of the world. In 2004, after graduating from the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts, she travelled to the Polynesian atolls, the Moroccan desert, the rivers of the Amazon and the Australian coast, and began work on a series of graphic novels.

In 2009, while en route to the South Pole via Japan, a series of circumstances brought the series to an end. However, Julie fell in love with Japan and decided to start a new life there.

Author and illustrator of "En famille à Tokyo" (Family in Tokyo), published by Kana, and guide for the small agency Toc Toc Tokyo, which she set up with screenwriter Stéphane Chapuy, Julie will be delighted to help you discover this country that has charmed her for 16 years now.
