Campbell Whyte will be at TBDF 2025!

On Sunday, 2 November 2025, Campbell Whyte will take part in Tokyo Comic Festival all the way from Perth, Australia!

His works have been nominated for numerous awards including the Eisner’s and has been the winner  of the Excellence in Graphic Literature Award,  PubWest Design Award, and DINKy Award. Come discover uniquely Australian comics!

Campbell Whyte is a passionate comic creator, educator and community builder. His award winning graphic novels boldly blend auto-fiction with pop-genres, embedded in a uniquely Australian cultural landscape.

He is the co-director of the Milktooth School of Art and Stories where he teaches comic courses to over 400 students each year and is the co-founder and current Chairperson of the Perth Comic Arts Festival, Australia’s largest comics literary event.

His main works include:

Campbell will present his work on Sunday 2nd, between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., in the auditorium (free admission) for the session ‘Les rencontres de la BD mondiale’ (World Comic Book Encounters).
