ChrisPop is back in Tokyo!

From Saturday 1 November to Sunday 2 November 2025, the Tokyo BD Festival will welcome author Chris Pop in collaboration with publishers Mr Tan & Co. and the Bureau des Copyrights Français de Tokyo!

Chris Pop is co-writer of the series ‘La petite grande Chaventure d'Ajax,’ based on the hit series ‘Mortelle Adèle.’ He joined the Mortelle Adèle production team in 2019 after working as a marketing designer and colourist!

Chris Pop joined Mortelle Adèle in 2019. Initially a graphic designer, he went on to colour several albums before lending his impassive voice to Tirol in the album ‘365 jours pour être sage’ (365 days to be good). He wrote his first story in his home village in Isère, with the aim of making his pet laugh. It is therefore no surprise that he now weaves the adventures of Ajax and his friends, taking them on new journeys. La Petite Grande Chaventure d'Ajax, published by Mr.Tan & Co, is his first book.
